who runs madra.net ?
madra.net is the illegitimate brainchild of stíobhart matulevicz; one time singer with atrocious 1990's punk rock never-weres, nobody's heroes. his dreams of rock'n'roll stardom crushed under the fascist jackboots of an uncaring world, matulevicz sought refuge in the virtual world, because as he himself puts it - "on the internet no-one can hear you scream!"
now after years of sad, nerdy, 'johnny-no-mates' sessions spent alone in his foetid flat with only his computer, a selection of programming manuals and a pint of brake-fluid for company, matulevicz has emerged, blinking into the light - if not a wiser man, then at least an older one - and embarked on his latest pie-in-the-sky quest; to become a successful multimedia practitioner and entrepreneur.
to this end, you will regularly find him 'flogging the family silver' in his ebay shop, 'bath of bilge', railing ineffectually against the world in his seminal [or should that be semenal?] blog, 'bilge - sook my stupid brain!' as well as pimping his multimedia skills - for they are legion! [so he says] to interested passers-by.
on the multimedia front, madra.net offer web design and coding, flash design and actionscripting, graphic design, digital video and photography and, [anytime soon] ruby on rails programming - amongst others.
stíobhart matulevicz is also regularly seen bestriding, like a big-eared collossus, the classrooms of the design and visual arts department of city college manchester where, for the past four or five years he has been employed as a part-time lecturer, charged with drumming the finer points of such programmes as dreamweaver', 'flash', photoshop' and 'cinema 4D' into the unreceptive heads of a succession of HND and foundation degree students.
